Mary Jane Brewer

Dec. 20, 1930 - Jan 2, 2017
Raised in Harbor Springs, Michigan,
Mary Brewer of Concord, CA passed at the
age of 86 shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday at
Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Walnut Creek.
She is survived by her husband; Robert K. Brewer,
Her two daughters; Jeanette Hann of Concord, CA
and Dennette Powell of Carson City, NV and
one late son: Dennis K. Brewer; four grandchildren
and four great grandchildren. Also survived by her
two sisters Ruby Eskridge, Jessie Levett, and
brother Frank Levett of Ventura, CA.
Mary was a tribal member of the
Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians.
At the age of 15 she swam from Harbor Point
to Petosky, Lake Michigan. She also swam for
the Masters Swim Team of Concord, CA. She
thoroughly enjoyed bingo nights with her friends
and family. She will be missed by many.
Services are to be held at 1728 Elm Rd
in Concord, CA on February 11th, 2017
